Electric Works was last night presented with the 2011 National Innovation Award by the British Council for Offices!

We were up against the Me+My Workplace online project and the Zellig building in Birmingham for the much coveted award. It's the first time the award has been presented to a winner from Sheffield, something that we are immensely proud of.
Electric Works would like to thank all our brilliant occupiers and staff, as well as Sheffield City Council. We're delighted that all the hard work put in to make our building the thriving creative hub it is has been recognised by such a well respected organisation.

Last night's event, hosted by broadcaster John Sergeant at London's Grosvenor House, celebrated excellence in office space. The BCO commended Electric Works not only for its impressive architectural designs, but also for its programmes of interaction between its occupiers.
They also commented on the growth of Sheffield's creative, digital and technology sectors, praising us for being at the centre of these developments, and also for the wide variety of flexible services we offer.
